Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) The A.P. Public Service Commission came in to existence on 1st November, 1956 with the formation of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Before this, there was Andhra Public Service Commission in the Andhra State and Hyderabad Public Service Commission in the Hyderabad State. Andhra Service Commission came in to existence only in 1953 after the bifurcation of composite Madras State into Andhra and Madras States.

Qualification:

1. Municipal Assistant Engineers (Civil) in A.P. PH & Municipal Engg Sub – Services : A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

2. Assistant Engineers (Civil) in A.P. Ground water Sub – Services : Diploma in Civil Engineering or any other equivalent qualification.

3. Assistant Engineers (Civil/ Mechanical) in A.P. PH & ME Sub :

• A Degree in B.E. Civil Engineering
• A Degree in B.E. Mechanical Engineering

4. Assistant Engineers (Environmental) in A.P. PH & ME Sub – Services :

• Degree in B.E./B.Tech in Environmental Engineering
• A Degree in B.E./B.Tech. Civil Engineering

Minimum Percentage in Graduation            :               Not Mention

Age Limit:

1. Municipal Assistant Engineers (Civil) in A.P. PH & Municipal Engg Sub – Services : 18 – 40 years

2. Assistant Engineers (Civil) in A.P. Ground water Sub – Services : 18 – 40 years

3. Assistant Engineers (Civil/ Mechanical) in A.P. PH & ME Sub – Services : 18 – 40 years

4. Assistant Engineers (Environmental) in A.P. PH & ME Sub – Services : 21 – 40 years

Application Fee :

1. GEN (UR) candidates : Rs. 330/-
2. OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates : Rs. 330/-
3. SC/ST candidates : RS 80/-

Selection Procedure :
