Age Limit

The age limit of applicants for NIC Recruitment is as under:

Minimum Age Limit – 18 years

Maximum Age Limit – 30 years

Age Relaxation benefit for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ESM candidates are applicable as per the Govt.

Education Qualification

Candidates must attain the basic qualification as under to apply for NIC Recruitment the following educational qualification is given for different post as provided:

Scientist-B:     BE/B. Tech/ ME/M. Tech/ M. Sc/M. Phil degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

Scientific Officer/ Engineer: BE/B. Tech/ ME/M. Tech/ M. Sc/ MCA degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

Scientific Technical Assistant: BE/B. Tech/ ME/M. Tech/ M. Sc/ MCA degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

The salary for Scientists, Scientific Officers/Engineers, and Scientific/Technical Assistants GIVEN below-

• Scientific Officer/Engineer-Level-7 (Rs. 44900- Rs.142400)
• Scientific/Technical Assistant-Level-6(Rs. 35400- Rs.112400

NIC Recruitment 2023: Exam Pattern
 

The NIC Scientist B Exam Pattern 2023 is a complete scheme of question papers to get familiar with the exam by knowing the pattern of the examination. The exam pattern consists of a number of questions, total marks, exam duration, etc.

• The written examination will have a total of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Each question will carry one mark for the correct answer.
• The question paper will consist of 65% questions from the Technical section and 35% questions from General section.
• The time duration for the NIC Scientist B exam will be 03 Hours.
• There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
