UPSSSC JE 2026 Eligibility and Fee

The notification asks for a PET-2025 scorecard, a diploma or other prescribed qualification in the relevant branch, and an age within the limit on 1 July 2026. The exact qualification changes from post to post.

• PET-2025: only candidates with a scorecard can apply, and a zero or negative score is not shortlisted.
• Age limit: 18 to 40 years for most posts and 21 to 40 for a few, as on 1 July 2026.
• Fee: a ₹25 processing fee applies to General, OBC, SC and ST candidates.

UPSSSC JE 2026 Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The UPSSSC JE notification lays out four stages candidates have to clear:

• PET-2025 shortlisting — the first filter
• Written exam — 100 objective questions, 100 marks, 2 hours, ¼ negative marking
