ESE 2024 Eligibility

Candidates applying for UPSC ESE must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Candidate must have regular full time 4-year B.E. or B.Tech degree with atleast 60% aggregates.

Candidates applying for Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) must have a M.Sc degree or equivalent with wireless communication electronics, radio physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.

Candidates applying for Indian Radio Regulatory Service (Group A posts) must have a M.Sc degree or equivalent with wireless communication electronics, radio physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject OR a masters degree in science with physics and Radio communication or Electronics or Telecommunication as a special subject.

Candidates must have minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 30 years as on closing date of online application form.
Although there is certain age relaxations in upper age limit to reserved category students.

Along with the above said eligibility criteria points, candidate also must be fit and healthy to be able to perform well after selection.
