DRDO Technician-A: Salary

DRDO Technician-A: Selection Criteria

The selection in DRDO Welder Trade will be two phases:

Phase I - Computer Based Test: This is the very first stage of the selection process conducted by the DRDO. Candidates will have to attempt a written examination of 120 marks. It is necessary to qualify for this stage to attempt the trade test. It is an objective-based examination conducted for 90 minutes with no negative marking.

Phase II - Trade Test: After successful completion of the first stage examination, candidates will have to attempt a Trade Test which will be specific to the post applied. This examination will be qualifying in nature.

Students selected for Trade Apprenticeship receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹7000 to ₹7700 during their apprenticeship.

SAIL Attendant cum Technician: Selection Criteria

  • The selection for the position of Technician in SAIL will be on the basis of a separate online Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a skill/trade test.
  • The students will be shortlisted for Skill/trade test on the basis of marks secured in CBT Exam in the ratio of 1:3.
  • The weightage ascribed to different components of the selection process of CBT and Interview will be 80:20
