RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Job Profile

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Important Dates
Application forms for RRB ALP 2024 can be filled out online from 20 January 2024 to 19 February 2024 by visiting the official website of the zonal RRB Websites.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
(1) Students must have passed Class 10th followed by ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized university/board with a minimum 60% aggregate.
(2) Students awaiting the results of their final examination are not eligible for ALP positions.
(3) The upper age limit for candidates is 30 Years as of 1 July 2024 for UR Category students. However, there are age relaxations for certain categories of students according to government norms.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection for the post of ALP in Indian Railways will be done based on separate Written Tests in two stages followed by Computer Aptitude Test (CBAT) document verification.
The final merit list will be prepared with 70% weightage to Part A of CBT-2 and 30% weightage to the score of CBAT.
The candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in the written test. The final merit.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern
(a) The written exam will be conducted in two stages: CBT-1 and CBT-2.
(b) The CBT-1 exam will be just qualifying in nature for shortlisting candidates for CBT-2 and the marks of CBT-1 will not be added to the final merit list.
(c) CBT-1 will consist of 75 questions of 1 mark each to be attempted in 60 minutes.
(d) There will be a negative marking of one-third marks in CBT-1.
(e) CBT-1 will have questions about General Aptitude, Reasoning, and Mental Ability.
(f) CBT-2 Exam will contain questions from respective trade in Part-A
(g) CBT does not have negative marks and the questions will be in Hindi and English Only.
