IOCL Technical Apprentice Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
(1) For the Technician Apprentice position, students must have a 3-year regular full-time diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline with a minimum 50% aggregates for UR, EWS, OBC NCL category students and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwD category candidates from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
(2) The upper age limit for candidates is 24 Years as of 30 November 2023 for UR Category students. However, there are age relaxations for certain categories of students according to government norms.
(3) It should be noted that students who have completed their three-year diploma as of 30 November 2023 or later are not eligible for this apprentice recruitment.
Also, candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing an Apprenticeship in any industry as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961/1973/1992 for 1 year or more are not eligible to apply.

IOCL Technical Apprentice Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The selection for Technician Apprentice will be based on an Online CBT Test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
IOCL Technical Apprentice Recruitment 2023: Exam Pattern
The online Computer-based Test (CBT) exam will consist of Technical questions of relevant discipline followed by non-technical questions from General Aptitude, Reasoning Abilities, and Basic English.
The exact proportion of Technical and Non-Technical Questions is not yet disclosed by IOCL.
However, students should prepare for Technical as well as non-technical topics beforehand.
