As per the official website of SSC the Academic Calendar for the years 2024-25 has been released.
SSC JE 2024 Examination Schedule
As per the official calendar, the SSC JE 2024 notification will be released in February 2024. The online application process for SSC JE 2024 will commence on 29 February 2024. The application form along with the application fee can be submitted on or before 29 March 2024.
Paper 1 or SSC JE 2024 Prelims is expected to be conducted in May or June 2024 as per the official academic calendar 2024.
Syllabus of SSC JE Prelims 2024
Students preparing for SSC JE need to qualify for the first stage of SSC JE Prelims. It includes technical as well as non-technical Topics.
SSC JE Prelims consists of 200 questions.
Each correct answer carries one mark and each wrong answer attracts a negative marking of fourth marks. Students need to prepare wholeheartedly for technical as well as non-technical topics to clear the prelims exam as the competition is increasing day by day and the cutoffs are increasing continuously. General Studies questions are asked from various topics such as:

Syllabus of SSC JE Mains 2024
SSC JE Mains exam is also conducted in objective mode. However, there is no non-technical syllabus at this stage. The exam consists of 100 questions purely from technical subjects of respective disciplines. Each question carries 3 marks and a negative answer will attract a penalty of 1 mark. Therefore, it is advisable that students read the question carefully and then solve it with high accuracy and precision.
