WBMSC has recently released a notification for the recruitment of 87 Sub Assistant Engineers for various departments under the Municipal corporation.

WBMSC Sub Asst. Engineer: Eligibility Criteria

(a) Age of the candidates must not exceed 37 years as on 1 January 2023.

(b) Candidates should have matriculation with 03 years (full time) Diploma or 4 Year B.E./B.Tech in their respective field of engineering from Govt. recognized Institute.

WBMSC Sub Asst. Engineer:  Selection Criteria

(a) The selection of the candidates is based on the Written Test (200 Marks) followed by a personal Interview (40 Marks).

WBMSC Sub Asst. Engineer: Exam Pattern

(a) The written tests will be an offline mode OMR based selection tests consisting of 100 questions carrying 2 marks each.

(b) There will be negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.

(c) The questions paper will be in English language and the duration is 2 hours.

(d) The candidates who are qualified in the written exam will be shortlisted for personal interview.

(e) Final selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Written Exam + Personal Interview.
