The SSC JE (Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer) exam is conducted every year annually for the recruitment of Junior Engineers in various government departments and organizations. The SSC JE admit card 2023 Prelims Paper-1 is about to get released very soon.
In 2023, as per the SSC tentative calendar, SSC JE paper-1 known as Tier-1 will be conducted on 9, 10, and 11 October in various shifts.
How to Download Admit Card for SSC JE 2023 Prelims Paper 1
SSC JE admit cards are released region-wise. Hence, students can log in to their respective region’s SSC website, enter their credentials and download the admit card.
However, some students are confused regarding the region from which their admit cards are to be downloaded. So, here’s the list of states and their corresponding regions along with the direct link to download the admit cards for SSC JE 2023 Tier-1.
Step 1: Click on the SSC website according to your respective region.
Step 2: From the tabs shown either on top or on the right-hand side or left-hand side, select the option “Download Admit Card”
Step 3: Enter your roll no./name/registration number as login credentials and click on the “Submit” button.
Step 4: Your admit card will be shown on the screen. Click on the top right corner to save your admit card.
Examination Dates for SSC JE 2023 Paper 1
As per the official calendar released by SSC, the tentative dates for SSC JE 2023 Tier 1 are 9, 10, and 11 October 2023. Admit cards will be released in the first week of October 2023. Students are advised to check the SSC official website at regular intervals.
Important Points to Check While Downloading SSC JE 2023 Admit Card
(1) Students are advised to check all the details mentioned in the admit card including name, date of birth, exam center, branch, etc.
(2) Admit cards can be downloaded in black and white and in colored ink.
(3) The hard copy has to be taken in hard copy. The examination center will not accept a soft copy of the admit card.
(4) Students are advised to check the exact address of the examination center and locate its distance from the nearest railway or metro station. Also, if the examination center is in a new city, then it is advised to reach the examination center city one day prior to the scheduled examination date.
(5) It is advised to download two copies of admit cards for any unforeseen circumstances.
Required Things along with Admit Card for SSC JE 2023 Tier 1 Exam
(1) Along with admit card, an original identity card is also to be carried at the examination center.
Accepted identity cards are Voter ID, Pan Card, Driving License, government identity card, Passport, or Aadhar Card.
(2) Also, it is also requested to carry 2 latest colored photographs with the admit card at the examination center.
(3) Students can carry the following items with them at the examination center:
(a) Transparent water bottle
(b) Blue ballpoint pen
(c) Hand sanitizer and face mask
(4) Electronic gadgets like Mobile phones, pen drives, digital devices, calculators, or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the examination center.
(5) Any misconduct shall entail cancellation of the candidature of the candidate and disciplinary action including a ban from future examinations.
Important Points with Respect to SSC JE 2023 Tier 1 Exam
SSC JE Prelims (Tier 1) examination will be of two hours. It will consist of three sections:
Section A: 50 Questions of General Studies
Section B: 50 Questions of General Reasoning and Intelligence
Section C: 100 Questions from technical subjects of the respective branch.
The examination will be computer-based, hence, it is advised to give mock tests on digital platforms to experience a real exam-like environment and improve speed and accuracy.
