The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has released the TSPSC AEE Exam Date 2026 in its new exam schedule. The candidates who applied for Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Environmental Engineer posts can now make a plan for their preparation as per the announced dates.
According to the exam schedule published on 28th September 2026, the TSPSC AEE Civil Exam 2026 will be held on 6th November 2026 and 7th November 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The Assistant Environmental Engineer examination is scheduled earlier on 26th October 2026.
Engineering Recruitment Examinations candidates must make the best of their remaining exam preparation time by revising the prescribed syllabus, practicing the previous questions, and taking full-length mock tests.
TSPSC AEE Exam Date 2026
The new schedule includes the engineering examinations held by various departments. The Assistant Environmental Engineer position is with the Telangana Pollution Control Board, and AEE Civil is with the Transport, Roads & Buildings Department.
The examination centers are Hyderabad (under the jurisdiction of HMDA), Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal and Nizamabad.

TSPSC AEE Recruitment 2026 Notification
The recruitment drive includes 290 engineering posts of Assistant Environmental Engineer AEE Civil (100) and Assistant Environmental Engineer Electrical (190).
There are 19 positions available for Assistant Environmental Engineer, 222 for AEE Civil and 49 for AEE Electrical. Candidates are advised to check the qualifications required in the engineering discipline before taking the exam, as they differ for each post.
TSPSC AEE Eligibility Criteria 2026
The educational qualifications vary depending on the engineering job.
Applicants for Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) need to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. AEE Electrical requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Assistant Environmental Engineer: Engineering qualifications are accepted in specific fields (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Biotechnology, Mining or Environmental Engineering). Candidates with a B.E./B.Other Tech who have the required post graduate qualification in Environmental Engineering may also be considered.
TSPSC AEE Age Limit
The recommended age is between 18 and 44 years. Be sure to check the applicable cut-off dates and relaxation in the official notification.
Age relaxation is applicable for eligible government employees/ex servicemen, eligible SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates, and persons with disabilities, as per the conditions given by TGPSC.
TSPSC AEE Exam Pattern 2026
The written examination comprises two papers. Paper 1 is designed to measure General Studies and Mental Abilities, and Paper 2 measures engineering knowledge specific to the candidate’s discipline.
Paper 1 is set in English & Telugu and paper 2 is set in English. The candidates must prepare both the papers at the same time, as a major part of the total marks will be secured in the technical paper.
TSPSC AEE Syllabus 2026: What Should Candidates Study?
The TSPSC AEE Syllabus 2026 can be classified into two general parts, which are General and Technical.
In the paper 1, there are sections on General Studies, Current Affairs and Mental Ability. Candidates need to update the topics related to Telangana and also the topics related to National development and practice questions based on reasoning.
Paper 2 is discipline-specific. Candidates of civil engineering should change their main Civil Engineering subjects, and candidates of electrical engineering should concentrate on the syllabus of electrical engineering that has been prescribed. Environmental Engineering students should focus on environmental engineering and pollution control related subjects.
Theoretical reading should not be the sole criterion used by candidates. Solving objective type questions after every topic can help to detect the gaps in understanding and speed up.
TSPSC AEE Selection Process 2026
The selection process comprises OMR/CBT Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination. According to the information on the recruitment, there isn’t an interview round.

The qualifying marks are different for each of the categories – 40% for OC/Sports Persons/EWS, 35% for BC candidates, 30% for SC/ST/PH candidates.
