Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) is a service recruiting board constituted by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir that conducts examinations for various departmental services or non-gazette posts in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Junior Engineers under JKSSB create designs and specification documents for entire projects or parts of larger projects. They are also entrusted with budget management and developing material & personnel cost estimates based on documentation and project plans by the lead Senior Engineer.

JKSSB JE Recruitment 2022: Education Qualification
The essential educational qualification required for the post of junior engineer in JKSSB is a 3-year diploma in civil or mechanical or automobile engineering from Government recognized institute/Indian University.
The candidates must have acquired their passing certificate on or before the last date of submission of the online application form.
Also, candidates should have a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir issued by the Competent Authority on the format prescribed for the purpose, on or before the last date of submission of the online application form.

For the post of JKSSB JE, the maximum age limit allowed is 40 Years as on 01 January 2022. However, age relaxations for various category candidates are eligible as per the government norms.

The Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions. The questions will be set in English Language only. Also, there will be a Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
