For the Assistant Engineer position, students must have a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
For Junior Engineer Position, students must have a degree or diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Also, students need to have a domicile of Chhattisgarh state.
The upper age limit for candidates is 40 Years as of 1 January 2023. However, there are age relaxations for certain categories of students according to government norms.

CSPDCL AE JE Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
For the Assistant Engineer position, the selection will be on the basis of a written exam followed by a personal interview and document verification.
For the Junior Engineer position, the selection will be purely on the basis of a written exam followed by document verification only.
CSPDCL AE JE Recruitment 2023: Exam Pattern
The Exam pattern of the Assistant Examination will consist of a 100-mark written exam whose minimum qualifying aggregate should be 40% to qualify.
The examination pattern for the Junior Engineer exam will also consist of a 100-mark written exam whose minimum qualifying aggregate should be 40% to qualify.
Both examinations will have separate question papers with varying difficulty levels.
Stage –III consists of a Personality Test cum Personal Interview consisting of 200 Marks.
