Educational Qualification for GSSSB Surveyor 2026
Eligibility for the recruitment is to have one of the following qualifications:
- A diploma in civil engineering from a recognized technical examination board, university or institution.
- An equivalent diploma qualification recognized by the government.
- A one-year or two-year Surveyor course certificate from a government-recognized ITI.
The candidates are required to have basic computer knowledge and satisfactory knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
The educational qualification condition stated for recruitment is that the candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, so candidates with that qualification is not eligible for this recruitment. Physical Standards and Walking Test
Apart from the educational qualifications, Applicants should meet the physical measurement criteria set.
The height of General and ST candidates of Gujarat origin for male candidates is required to be 163cm and 155cm respectively. Normally chest size required is 79 cm, after expansion is 84 cm and minimum weight is 50 kg.
The minimum height for female candidates is 150 cm for general and 145 cm for ST candidates (Gujarat origin). The minimum weight is 45Kg.
Candidates are also required to comply with the following walking test requirements:
- For male candidates 25km in 4 hours.
- Female candidates: 14km in 4 hours.
