Educational Qualification
- Junior Scientific Assistant Posts: Master’s Degree in the specified science disciplines like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Forensic Science, Psychology, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Toxicology, Anthropology and other related subjects. Additional posts may also be open to B.E./B. relevant engineering tech qualifications.
- IT Assistant Grade-A: Class 1.2 typing speed required. Desirable computer certification.
- Fitter (Grade II): ITI/Trade Certificate with relevant experience.
- Lift Operator: Matriculation in Higher Secondary with ITI Electrician/Wireman trade.
- Substation Apprentice: Matric & National Trade Certificate (Electrician).
- Data Processing Assistant/Data Entry Operator: Typing skills and a diploma or degree in computer engineering.
- Electrical Overseer/Labor Inspector: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.

- The age of most junior scientific assistants is 18-27 years
- Technical Assistant & Assistant Archivist: Up to 30 years
- Lift Operator: 18–37 years
- The training period will be 18-32 years for Fitter Grade-II & Assistant Operator.
5.1% of the workforce is under 30 years old. Less than one-third of data entry operators/data processing assistants are under 30 years old.
