PDIL Engineer Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess qualifications from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
The required qualifications include:
- B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Computer Science.
- Diploma in relevant engineering branches for Diploma Engineer posts.
- MBA/PG Diploma in HR, Materials Management, or Project Management for respective non-engineering disciplines.
- M.Sc. Chemistry for SSP & QC Audit posts.
- Fire & Industrial Safety Diploma/Certificate along with the prescribed educational qualification for Safety posts.
Apart from educational qualifications, candidates must also possess the required post-qualification work experience, which varies according to the scale of the post.

The selection process consists of two stages:

Shortlisting will be done only for those who fulfill the eligibility criteria. Interviews will be conducted via registered e-mail addresses.
Eligible candidates appearing in the Railway interview will be reimbursed by PDIL for the payment of their fare for III AC/sleeper class railway train with the production of travel documents.
Selected candidates will be initially appointed for a period of one year and extended on an annual basis for a maximum of three years on a performance basis.
