RRB Technician Selection Process 2025
RRB Technician Recruitment 2025 selection process will be conducted in three phases to select eligible candidates based on the posts of Technician Grade I Signal and Technician Grade III. The selection process involves; Computer-Based Test (CBT) and subsequent Document Verification, and last but not least the Medical Examination. Each of these stages are elaborated further:
Stage 1 Computer-based Test (CBT)
The initial phase of the selection procedure is an online computer-based test aimed at measuring the applicants in terms of knowledge and aptitude. The CBT will consist of 100 objective-type questions which have to be answered within 90 minutes and have 1 mark each.
Stage 2- Verification of Documents
Individuals who pass in the CBT will be selected to take part in the document verification (DV). In this phase, the applicants are required to present original credentials and papers that were submitted during application filling.
Stage 3 – Medical examination
Once the documents are verified; the candidates will be subjected to a medical fitness test to be done by duly authorized Railway medical staff. This step is required to make sure that the applicant is physically and mentally sound to handle the tasks correlated with the position of the technician.
Final Appointment
The selected candidates, who clear all the three stages at the examination, that is CBT, Document Verification and Medical Examination, will be provisionally selected and appointed. Selection will be further on basis of CBT performance and appointment is to be done subject to verification and medical clearance.
