The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is the state organization authorized to conduct civil service examinations for appointments to various Group C and Group D posts.

The UPSSSC Commission invites applications every year from all over India for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) as a Trainee. A Junior Engineer in UPSSSC is responsible for the supervision of work in the initial days of joining, as this will help him/her get a clear idea to get familiar with the functions of the company. The Junior Engineer is expected to make plans or estimates concerning renovation/repair work and carry out extensive planning for important projects.
UPSSSC is going to release a recruitment notification soon for the recruitment of 5792 Junior Engineers in various departments of Uttar Pradesh.
UPSSSC JE Recruitment 2023: Important Dates
It is likely that UPSSSC will release the notification in the month of February or March 2023 for the post of Junior Engineers and the exam is expected in the month of May or June 2023.

It is estimated that near about 5792 vacancies will be announced for the post of junior engineer in the month of February or March by UPSSSC.
UPSSSC JE Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
At the time of application, the candidate must have possessed 3 years diploma in the respective branch from a recognized University/ Deemed University.
The minimum age limit for the vacancy is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 40 Years as of the form-filling deadline. However, there are age relaxations on various category students as per the government norms.

The selection for the UPSSSC JE will be on the basis of a written exam followed by a personal interview.
The Written exam will be conducted in Offline mode.

- The exam will be conducted offline.
- The question pattern will be MCQ-based.
- Both the papers have a break of 3 hours between them.
- For every wrong answer, a negative marking of 0.25 marks will be deducted.
