GATE EXAMINATION
Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering-2023 (GATE) is national aptitude test conduct on the national level. GATE-2023 is organized by the IIT KANPUR.GATE is jointly national exam of IIT’s(Bombay , Bangalore, Madras, Roorkee, Delhi, khargpur, Kanpur, Guwahati). It is computer based test (CBT). The notification of GATE 2023 is released . IIT’s conduct the GATE exam on behalf of national coordination board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India.
Qualifying in GATE is mandatory requirement for student of seeking admission in master’s programs and direct doctoral programs in engineering/architecture/technology. Even in some institute and colleges the GATE qualification is mandatory. Further, many public sector (PSU’s) undertakings have been using the GATE score in their recruitment.
