Education qualification: The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in science with Physics as one of the key subject / Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Application OR Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized institution.

The salary band for SSC IMD Scientific Assistant has been revised after the 7th pay commission. Now the Basic Salary is INR 35,400. Apart from this, employees will also get House Rent Allowances, Travel Allowances, and DA.

Step 2: Next, from the Recruitment tab. Click on the link regarding IMD Scientific Assistant Recruitment.
Step 3: As the application form opens, enter all the details without making any spelling errors. Also, upload the valid documents in the prescribed formats by the SSC.
Step 4: Before final submission, recheck the entire form and then click on the Submit Button.
Step 5: Now, proceed with the payment tab and make the payment to complete your registration. Keep your registered Application ID and Password for future reference.
IMD Scientific Assistant Exam Pattern:
The time duration of the written exam for the said exam is 2 hours. The written exam consists of two parts comprising of 200 questions. Each part will have 100 questions. Candidates must also practice SSC IMD Scientific Assistant previous year question paper to have the better understanding of the exam
1. The exam is held online.
2. Each section has 25 questions and the questions carry 1 mark each.
3. Part 2 consists of 100 questions and this part will carry 100 marks in total.
4. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking.
Candidates will get combined 2 hours/120 minutes to complete both parts of the exam.
